EXTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS
- Teacher and Team Websites - Each teacher is required to have a website. Teachers include a variety of things on the website including updates, assignments, due dates and information about the curriculum. Many teachers also provide links to handouts they provide in class. Each team is expected to send out a weekly newsletter that contains information specific to the team. In addition to individual teacher websites, each team has a team website where information that pertains to all students on the team can be found.
- Main School Website - The main school website contains a lot of useful information with tabs specific to students and parents. Students can access information on the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policies, clubs as well as links to digital resources. Parents can access information on things such as HomeBase, Transportation, School Meals and PTSA.
- Principal Weekly Letter - This letter is sent out by Ms. Rodgers every Sunday to families through School Messenger. The letter includes information on important events happening at the school, reminders, and shout-outs. This information is also posted on the school website.
- Twitter - Many teachers uses Twitter to send information out to families. Based on feedback from Parent Focus groups, it was decided that this can not be the only way to share information. Teachers also need to use email, newsletters or some other system such as Remind, to let families know what is going on.
